Rust removal for SS400 PL (heavy material)
We will remove rust from a 2600×2300 size plate of SS400 PL100t using blasting.
The large steel plate, measuring 2600×2300 and weighing 5 tons, made of SS400 PL100t, will have its rust removed through grit blasting. While the specific application is unknown, completely removing the rust from this steel plate and applying anti-corrosion treatment can protect the base material from corrosion. Corrosion is a phenomenon where the surface changes due to scientific or electrical factors, impairing its appearance and function. If it progresses, it can lead to a reduction in thickness and the formation of holes. In contrast, anti-corrosion treatment is performed to stop or delay the corrosion of metal materials. Corrosion resistance refers to the ability of the metal material itself to withstand corrosion, while anti-corrosion and rust prevention aim to prevent the corrosion of metals.
